RECIPE TIPS
TRY ANOTHER FLAVOUR

This recipe is easily adapted. Just use the same quantity (250g) of fresh berries – raspberries, strawberries, blackcurrants or blueberries work just as well as cranberries.

WHICH VODKA?

You can happily use unbranded vodka for this as the cranberries provide the main bittersweet flavour.

Method

  • Prick each cranberry a couple of times with a fork and layer up in a large sterilised Kilner jar with the sugar. Pour over the vodka and leave for 2 weeks, shaking the jar each day.

  • Strain and decant into decorative bottles. Seal and label.
